The origins of Yute's date from the early sixties of de 19th century when a group of manufactures of different types of sacks, such as potato or rice sacks, decided to set up a business using sackcloth, mostly jute in the field of home decoration. Since then, Yute's has widened is range of productsand has expanded in the nationwide market, in which it is renowned for the quality of its fabrics and the originality of its desings. In the beginning Yute's was situated in the centre of Barcelona, but owing to the growth of our activities, in 1997 we moved to an industrial estate in Sant Just Desvern. It is a ten-minute drive from the airport, about 4 Km from the centre of Barcelona and connected with good public transport. In 2003 we made an important investment enabling us to double the capacity of our warehouse and improve the quality of our service to our customers, as well as the working conditions of our staff. It is now our great challenge to achieve excellence in our service and consolidate our internacinal projection. |
